 Peace
is the primary and irrevocable obligation and the fundamental
objective of humanity. Living in a world with a multitude
of intractable conflicts threatening peace, humanity
as a whole needs to embrace a new era of peace, harmonious
coexistence, integrity, and solidarity. Peace is also
a matter of the utmost importance for the Korean who
constantly faces a series of conflict in the Korean
peninsula.
University of Brain Edcation (UBE)
is the first graduate level institution
for peace studies in South Korea. It is a center of
education and research devoted to developing peaceology
that applies philosophy of <Hong-Ik-In-Gan E-Wha-Sae-Gae>
to the contemporary theories on peace as well as training
highly educated leaders for world peace and progress.
People create and write history. Most of all we change
history. I believe these leaders educated in <Hongik
Ingan Ewha Saegae> would be the cornerstone of the
upcoming days of spiritual civilization.
It is
critical to build up a new kind of peaceology that meets
the need and expectation for the global village and
to bring up leaders for world peace in <Hong-Ik-In-Gan E-Wha-Sae-Gae>. For that end,
University of Brain Education presents graduate programs in Peace
Studies, Danhak Studies, and Brain Respiration Education.
Each department offers the best teaching faculties with
knowledge and experience at the Master¡¯s and Doctor's
level.
As a higher education institution, UBE
is committed to presenting specific directions of research
for peace studies to Korean and world academic circles.
The research undertaken at UBE also includes Peace
Industry and Human Technology(HT) for peace and the
basic philosophy and directions. We also have partnerships
with other prominent peace institutions around the world
including University For Peace(UPEACE) sponsored by
the United Nations. Furthermore, UBE plans to launch
a worldwide "Peace Education Systen" project
based on the lately developing distance education system.
This project seeks to produce new leaders "Power
Brain and Peace Brain" educated in preschools through
graduate schools in a total educational system.
Our
doors are always open for the final explorers of peace.
Appreciation for peace, respect for human rights, and
benevolence for people around the world are all that
we pursue. Bearing this in mind, we hope that you, too,
contrubute constructively to this new global era of
spiritual civiliazation at University of Brain Education.
